Bringing buyers and sellers together!

What can we do for you?
We can determine the best way to sell the items you have to make you the most amount of money!

The service you use will depend on your time frame, quantity and quality of items. We offer many different turn-key services from auctions and estate sales to full service real estate needs.

In general we take a 25% commission for our selling services. There will be additional fees for using online services that include the processing fees we are charged by the online companies.

What can we sell?

We can sell everything from cars and houses to dishes and pillows - the only exception is firearms - We are not currently licensed to sell firearms. We will auction items that are new or newer as long as they are in good working condition.  Books and clothing do not sell well at auction unless they are unique, vintage or antique. Wood furniture sells better than upholstered furniture. Items are grouped into lots of similar items unless they are collectible and will hold value as an individual item.

What are the different types of services?
Auctions
This is when the price is set by bidding of buyers and the highest price wins.

Estate Sales
This is an advertised direct sale event at the home of the person who owns the personal property. Traditionally, an estate sale is the sale of a collection that was saved over a lifetime and sold either when the owner passed away or was moving. Recently, the word estate is used to gain attendance at garage sales. This is a great method after the passing of a loved one or when moving or downsizing. These are often attended by professional buyers for antique and resale stores and many people in the neighborhood or that knew the owner.

Business Liquidation
This is an advertised one time event usually at the business location. This can be an auction or set up like an estate sale.

Charity/Fundraising/Benefit Events
The profits go to the designated non-profit organization.

What are the different selling methods?
Live Auction
A live auction is in an advertised location and at an advertised time with an auctioneer auctioning specific items to the public and highest bidding buyer wins. This is an in person event and offers the public a chance to buy and raise the price of items being sold in a fun environment. Real estate and other large or personal items that would sell well to a local crowd are best for this setting.

Online Auction
An online auction is done over the internet with no direct contact and the highest bidder still buys the item.

We currently use Ebay for auctions and have items available worldwide so you get a bigger audience than in a live auction setting.  Highly collectible items do well with this method. There are additional fees for this service an is generally used for items priced at $100 or more.

We also offer online auctions through our website as well as through proxibid.com or Icollector.com. They can handle strictly timed online auctions as well as real time live online auctions which would be held live in our Lakeville location as well. There may be additional fees for this service.

Silent Auction
A silent auction is when items are displayed and during a preview time potential buyers are allowed to submit bids for the items. At a designated ending time the highest bidder wins and buys the item. This is often used at charity events.

Online Sales
We are powersellers with Ebay and offer an Ebay store, or we can sell through Craigslist for you. For specific items when you are not in a hurry to sell this offers long term exposure and allows you to wait for the right buyer to come along and purchase your item at a set price.

Direct Sales
This can be through an estate sale, antique event, or flea market style set-up with our company having direct sales contact with the potential buyer. These are advertised organized events that are generally 1-3 days in length. The buyers buy items directly as in a retail setting. May of these sales ar generated through advertising on Craigslist.

What is Consignment ?
Consignment refers to you having your item sold by us using any method outlined above. You retain ownership of the item until it is sold. We then take a commission as payment of doing the work of handling the sale of your item.

Buying for cash!
Sometimes it works out that buying your items for cash is the best solution. As a seller you will receive less than market value but you will get cash immediately and have instant result with no waiting or unsure profit.
